The holy month's coming to an end. And I dun even feel like I've been fasting for a month. (truly enough, I did skip a few days. :p) 2 more days left to Hari Raya and just steps away from 2007.
Just watched Persona Non Grata, by Syed Azizi and acted by Erra & Hans. (Its time to stop wasting money on watching Yusof Haslam's stupid love triangles and typical-recycled Malay storylines by David Teo.) I think the script for this movie is a bit too weak. I've always loved simplicity but this time the script is so light that I sometimes feel like switching off the TV. I love the cinematography though. Quite a boring film I can say. The same instrumental music which was rewinded throughout the film adds on to the 'minus point' of the film. Should have been better if it was played using different musical instruments at each round. Acting wise, nothing much to comment on. Nicholas Lee (Under One Roof actor) speaks very indifferent. Was it really his voice there? He sounds so kental in the film. There were also too many scenes of 'I look at you, you look at me' type. And, one more thing, Erra and Hans don't match at all. Something's just not right. It would have been better if Erra's role was done by Nasha Aziz. I've always find Erra Fazira's acting very stagnant and similar in almost every film. Out of 10, I'll give a 6. Can improve further.
